# Winemaking equipment online store: Bitrix24 sites, 1C catalogue feed and an AI consultant

Auspex has supported a seller of winemaking and fruit-processing equipment since 2022. Its two online stores, Ukrainian and Georgian, are built on Bitrix24 On-Premise. The catalogue comes from the accounting system and delivery runs through Nova Poshta. Since November 2025 the site has had an AI consultant with its own server, conversation log and admin panel.

## What did the client need?

The client wanted orders from its sites recorded both in the CRM and in the accounting system. It was also entering markets in several countries, which called for a second site and content in several languages.

Products reach the sites from the accounting system, and that feed kept failing. Later the client asked for an AI chat: a winemaker, technologist or buyer asks a question and gets an answer with links to the right products.

## What did we build for the sites?

The work on the sites and in accounting ran alongside day-to-day support:

-   built the Georgian site and took over support of the existing one;
-   added multilingual support;
-   fixed the catalogue feed from accounting to both domains;
-   connected delivery to Nova Poshta;
-   added an order list with PDF generation;
- set up sales tracking on the site and adapted the accounting system to the client's processes.

## How does the AI consultant work?

The chat answers questions about winemaking and the store's products, draws on a knowledge base of technical documents and links to catalogue pages. Visitors can attach a PDF, a photo, a Word document or an Excel sheet, and the chat takes the contents into account.

Every answer passes through our server before the visitor sees it. Links get UTM tags automatically, and the chat will not hand over the price list as a file: bulk price exports are blocked. Since September 2026 files the assistant generates itself download from an ordinary link.

Per-visitor request limits and content moderation protect the chat from abuse.

## How does the team check the answers?

Every conversation is stored in the admin panel log. It can be filtered by email, visitor country, thumbs up or down, and moderation flags.

In September 2026 we added export of everything the current filter matches, as Markdown or as CSV with one question and answer per row. At the same time two of the client's managers got their own admin logins.

## Frequently asked

### Can an AI website chat give a customer the price list?

No. Bulk price exports are blocked on the server, so the price list cannot be obtained either as a file or as a table the assistant generates itself.

### How do you see how many people go from the chat to the catalogue?

Links in the chat's answers get UTM tags automatically, configured by the administrator in the admin panel. Visits from the chat then show up in the site's web analytics.

### What files can visitors send to the chat?

PDFs, images, Word documents, Excel sheets and plain-text formats such as CSV or TXT. The chat reads the file and answers with its contents in mind.
